Please join us for the 11th Annual MLK UVA Health System Awards Dinner. This signature event will be held in-person on Thursday, January 18th at 6pm in The Rotunda on the grounds of The University of Virginia.

Established in 2013, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., University of Virginia Health System Award is presented annually to a student, faculty, or staff member of the Health System who embodies Dr. Martin Luther King's values and teachings in cultural competence, health care disparities, or fostering an environment of inclusiveness, in accordance with the institution's mission and values.

This year we are excited to honor five award recipients and one community organization. We are also delighted to welcome our Special Guest Speaker, the newly elected Honorable Juandiego Wade, Mayor of Charlottesville, Virginia.

This event is free and open to the public. However, in - person seats for dinner are limited, and registration is required by Friday, January 12, 2024. You may also register to attend this event virtually only.
